Rents across Ireland have hit an all-time high.
The latest report by Daft.ie shows the average rent is now €1,077 per month - an increase of 11.7% on this time last year. This is the largest annual increase ever recorded by the property website, since reports began in 2002. Trinity College Economist Ronan Lyons is author of the report - he says the rate of inflation is extremely concerning.
