Retail sales figures are expected to be dire in April, after seeing the biggest monthly fall in eleven years in March.
That's according to Retail Excellence Ireland. CSO statistics show sales fell 12.7 per cent last month, with bar and clothes sales halved and car sales down almost a third. Supermarket market sales increased, as did online sales.
