Significant Delays in the Emergency Department at Wexford General Hospital

Wexford General Hospital are experiencing high numbers of patients this evening with high numbers of patients attending the Emergency Department

Management say there are significant numbers of admitted patients awaiting ward beds and very significant delays in ED. The public are being urged to consider all care options before attending their ED such as Out of Hours GP Service and pharmacies Patients attending the ED, who require urgent care, will be prioritised.
