Thin Lizzy frontman Phil Lynott has been immortalised in silver to mark his 70th birthday.
The Central Bank has launched a 15 euro commemerative coin in honour of one of Ireland's greatest rock and roll stars. 3000 of the coins will go on sale tomorrow. President Michael D Higgins launched the coin at Phil Lynott's old secondary school this morning:
