South East Radio's Local Hero Competition Now Closed

South East Radio's search for our next musical star has come to a close.

Submission for the National Local Hero competition, as part of Irish Music Month, officially closed at the weekend.

Acts from all over County Wexford put themselves forward for the chance to represent the station at the national final.

Our judges are now working through the submissions and the top four will face off to see who will be crowned the next South East Radio Local Hero.

We’re so excited to showcase the incredible musical talent we have right here in Wexford — although choosing our final four is certainly not going to be an easy job!
