The village of Inistioge in South Kilkenny has been transformed for this week as filming for Jim Sheridan's new movie 'The Secret Scripture' takes place. Inistioge on the main New Ross to Kilkenny road is the setting for the film which is about a woman who keeps a diary of her exended stay at a mental hospital. Filming is due to be completed their by the end of the week.
