The government is to introduce a temporary funding support for private bus companies.
It is designed to help operators who run scheduled services in areas where no public transport is available. Private bus companies will be supported by the emergency provision for up to 6 months. The aim is to compensate the gap between specified costs and revenues generated on the bus services.
