The gentle giant of wexford politics dies
Tributes have been paid to former Fine Gael County Councillor Pat Codd. The 78 year old died unexpectedly at his home in Taghmon yesterday. He was co-opted on to Wexford County Council in the early 1990's and took a seat at every election until he retired in 2014. The tributes have been led by Wexford Mayor and party colleague Frank Staples who said Mr. Codd would be missed by the entire Fine Gael family.
