Tourist Numbers Up

TOURIST NUMBERS UP Almost 4 million overseas visitors came to Ireland in the first six months of the year - an jump of 11 per cent. That represents a boost to the economy of 1.9 billion euro - an increase of 165 million compared to the same period last year. Tourism Ireland says the results are significant and reflects the sentiment of those in the industry both here and abroad.
