A virtual dementia experience is coming to Wexford Quay next week to help people better understand what life can feel like for someone living with dementia.
Bluebird Care’s Immersive Experience Bus will be on the quay on Monday, September 21st, from 10am until 4.30pm.
Visitors use specially designed goggles, headphones and gloves while attempting everyday tasks, simulating some of the sensory challenges associated with dementia.
The free event takes place on World Alzheimer’s Day
