A Wexford Councillor has called for the Coroners Bill to be legislated on as a matter of urgency by the Dail.
Deirdre Wadding from the People Before Profit Alliance says the urgency is arising from the fact the legislation will mean that there will be an automatic inquest for a mother who dies at or during childbirth. The Coroners Bill was brought to the Dail by TD Clare Daly. Councillor Wadding says it would be a great help to families who are going through a mother's death at childbirth.
