Wexford county manager one of 20 council workers earning over 130,000 euro
The Wexford County Manager is one of 20 local authority workers earning more than 130,000 euro a year. Tom Enright's salary is just over 133,000 euro. Meanwhile more than 200 staff in councils around the country earn over 100,000 euro a year. Figures from the Department of the Environment show the Dublin City Council CEO is the top earner. Owen Keegan's annual salary is just over 175,000 euro. Minister Phil Hogan says the 216 people earning over 100 grand represent less than 1 per cent of the total local authority staff numbers around the country.
