Wexford town has fallen 16 places in the latest IBAL Litter Survey.
The town has dropped from 10th to 26th position in a ranking of forty towns and cities around the country. The survey cites the absence of community involvement as one of the reasons why the town has fallen in the rankings. The most heavily littered site in the town was the Recycle Facility at Tesco while the both North and South Main Street the Arts Centre and the Ardcavan Business Park were particularly well kept. All approach roads to the town were also top ranking.
