Wexford genius to be subject of major us tv series
A Wexford man is offically declared the fourth most intelligent man in the world. Walter O'Brien is now the subject of a major new TV series. 39 year-old Walter O'Brien was born at Boro Hill House, Ballymackessy, Clonroche in 1975. The son of Maurice and Ann O'Brien he was educated at Courtnacuddy National School and at 13 his family moved to Callan in county Kilkenny. A genius in computing science he has one of the highest IQs in the world at 197. At 14 Walter O' Brien had hacked in to NASAs computer system something which ended up with him doing a deal with NASA to highlight weaknesses in their computer system. Last year his computing genius led to the tracking down of the Boston bombers. Today he heads up Scorpion Computer Service employing over two thousand in the US with a turnover of one billion euro. Now a new televison series about the man called Scorpion is to be aired on the CBS channel in the U.S.
