A Wexford mother of three children with profound intellectual and physical disabilities is calling for urgent improvements in home care services.
Despite her family receiving nearly €19,000 a week in support, she says the nurses provided lack proper training, particularly in handling crucial medical equipment like hoists.
Speaking earlier on Morning Mix she has highlighted numerous incidents, including medication errors and fractures, due to insufficient care.
Rita Dobbs is now demanding better oversight from the HSE and private agencies, as well as more specialized training for nurses to ensure her children's safety and well-being
