Wexford project wins award for achievements in adult education
A Wexford based initiative has won an Aontas Star Award for outstanding achievements in adult education. The awards recognise and celebrate the work undertaken by adult learning initiatives. The awards saw Ozanam House Men's Hostel in Wexford town win the Leinster category. The "Making a difference everywhere" education initiative targets homeless men who have fallen through the cracks. The adult literacy sevices within Waterford and Wexford Education and Training Board developed the programme together with Ozanam House.
