Wexford senator to be allowed back into fianna fail parliamentary party
Veteran New Ross Senator Jim Walsh is to be re-admitted to the Fianna Fail parliamentary party. The long standing senator resigned from the parliamentary party last March over his opposition to the Children and Family Relationship Bill. He was then stripped of the whip by leader Micheal Martin. Fianna Fail confirmed last night that Jim Walsh was being allowed to rejoin after a ten month absence. This follows lobbying on Mr Walshe's case to Micheal Martin by senior party members.
