A woman who's walking from Cork to Dublin to raise awareness for her sick daughter says meeting the Health Minister is a waste of time.
Vera Twomey began the 260km trek last Monday in protest against a decision to restrict her 7 year old daughter Ava - who has a rare form of epilepsy - from accessing cannabis based medication. Simon Harris says he's available to meet with Vera Twomey when she arrives outside the Dáil today and further consultation with Ava's consultant can be arranged. But Mrs Twomey says that's not enough.
