Work underway to widen sanctions against russian and ukranian officials
The British Foreign Secretary says work is underway to widen sanctions against Russian and Ukrainian officials over the crisis in Crimea. Meanwhile the US Vice President has condemned Russia's actions in the region which has now pledged allegiance to Moscow following the weekend's referendum. Speaking after a meeting with Poland's Prime Minister Joe Biden claims things have gone too far. "We've joined Poland and the international community in condemning the continuing assault on Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity, and the blatant...violation of international law by Mr. Putin and Russia" he said.
