RYANAIR FORCED TO DO U-TURN ON PLANS TO LAUNCH TRANSATLANTIC SERVICE

Ryanair’s been forced to row back on claims that it’s board had approved plans to launch a transatlantic service.

A statement was issued to the stock exchange last night and the airline’s board also released a statement saying it had not approved flights between Europe and the US, and did not intend to do so.

It’s after the claims were made in a report in the Financial Times earlier this week, which also contained an interview with Ryanair’s Chief Marketing Officer Kenny Jacobs.
