SPORT: SUNDAY VICTORIES FOR PREMIER LEAGUE’S SPURS AND TOFFEES

Everton are up to fourth in the Premier League table, after claiming all three points away to Swansea Sunday.

Irish international Seamus Coleman was on the mark for Everton, as was Ross Barkley, who scored the late winner.

Bryan Oviedo had earlier scored an own goal to equalise for Swansea.

And Spurs are up to seventh in the table after they beat Southampton 3-2 at St. Mary’s.

Adebayor scored twice for Spurs on just his second league game of the season.

Tim Sherwood took charge of Spurs for the game this afternoon in his role as caretaker manager.

He has admitted, however, that he’s interested in replacing Andre Villas Boas .

Also in the hunt for the job is former England boss Glenn Hoddle.

Hoddle is a Spurs legend from his playing days – and managed them between 2001 and 2003.
