WEXFORD FISHING INDUSTRY HIT HARD BY RECENT BAD WEATHER

South Wexford coast fishermen have been counting the cost of the snow storm of two weeks ago.

But they say it was a the biting south east wind that caused most of the losses.

A huge amount of valuable fish catches were washed dead on the shore.

Fishermen John Sneezer Walsh says that Rosslare Harbour was one of the worst affected areas with lobsters, crabs and squid all being washed ashore by the rough seas.
