14 NOW CONFIRMED DEAD AFTER ST PETERSBURG ATTACK

14 people are now known to have died in yesterday’s bomb attack on a Metro train in St Petersburg.

Russian authorities have declared three days of mourning in response.

No-one has yet claimed responsibility for the attack, however officials say they have identified a suspect.

Moscow correspondent with the Guardian Shaun Walker says Russian media are calling it a suicide attack.
