8 RURAL AREAS IN COUNTY WEXFORD ADDED TO BROADBAND ROLLOUT

County Wexford is set to get new high speed broadband.

Eircom has announced the upgrade of services to eight rural areas in the county.

The high speed broadband will be rolled out to significantly improve services to significant rural areas of County Wexford.

The areas selected for upgrade investment include Adamstown, Bree, Ballygarrett, Ballinaboola, Clonroche, Inch, Monamolin and Taghmon.

The areas will have access to speeds of up to 1 gigabyte of end-to-end fibre.

The expansion in Wexford and nationwide will see eircom spend 400 million euro on broadband infrastructure over the next five years.
