The Paul Harris Fellowship is only awarded to Rotarians who have made an outstanding contribution to their club, community or an international project.
Liam Dwyer is one such Rotarian. He has undertaken a project to supply bicycles, computers, Toys and school equipment to a very underdeveloped part of Gambia. Working through the local Parish Priest, Fr Sean Devereaux, Liam organised the collection of the items, sorting and transportation in containers. He also provided funds for the purchase of a rice mill.
The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International has decided to award Liam a Paul Harris fellowship in recognition of his efforts.
