BRITS COULD FAVOUR BRAZILIAN BEEF OVER IRISH IF THERE’S A NO DEAL BREXIT

€750 million could be wiped off the value of Irish beef exports to the UK if current proposals by the British government come to pass.

Environment Secretary Michael Gove has proposed a system of tariffs which would favour Brazilian beef over Irish produce in the event of a no deal Brexit.

New correspondent with the Irish Farmers Journal Pat O’Toole says if that happens the British should know that standards will drop.
