Efforts to reduce food waste could mean the end of Buy One Get One Free offers.
Retailers are meeting this morning as part of a new Action Group – to examine waste reduction measures that have been successful in other parts of Europe.
The Minister for Climate Change and Environment he’s confident retailers will sign up to a new charter, as it’ll also suit them.
Denis Naughten says households need to be educated on buying less too.
