CORK TEEN CONTACTS GARDAI AFTER PHOTOS FOUND ON PORN WEBSITE
A young woman from Co Cork says she was horrified to find her pictures were taken from Facebook and posted and edited on a porn website.
19-year-old Katie Kirwan says photos of her when she was 14 were taken without her permission and used on a porn site.
Threatening and offensive comments were posted on the photos, which have been viewed more than one million times.
She says a number of her friends had their images taken and manipulated as well.
Katie says the gardaí have been informed – but her picture remains on the site.
“General (comments) – asking for my e-mail, asking for nudes of me, asking for all sorts” she said.
“There was edits of me with phallic symbols – for lack of a better descriptor – and so I obviously was horrified” she added.
