The European Commission has cleared the way for the Larry Goodman owned ABP Group to take a 50% stake in Slaney Foods based in Clohamon.
The proposal had been before the EU Compettion Commisioner for the past few months after protests from livestock producers here.
However a final decision on its acceptance was approved today
