It’s not acceptable for people to face large increases in their Local Property Tax, according to Fianna Fáil.
The Finance Minister has said increases coming in 2020 will be moderate and affordable.
Property values dictate the cost of the tax, and will be revised up from 2013 figures at the start of next year.
