FILMING OF BROOKLYN COMING TO AN END IN ENNISCORTHY TODAY
The movie is based on a book by the acclaimed author Colm Tóibín who is originally from the area.
Local residents have been praised for their co-operation while the movie was being filmed.
One of the star’s – Saoirse Ronan – says she enjoyed working in County Wexford which she used to visit as a child.
She says the county lent itself to the whole atmosphere of the film.
