IRELAND’S HOMELESS FIGURE HITS 10,000 INCLUDING OVER 3,700 KIDS

The government is looking at introducing reforms to rent pressure zones in the wake of the latest homeless figures.

They show 6,480 adults and 3,784 children were living in emergency accommodation in February.

Campaigners and opposition parties claim government policies to tackle the problem aren’t working.

Housing Minister Eoghan Murphy says a number of areas are being examined to help tenants.
