No child with scoliosis should have to wait more than four months for surgery.
That's according to the Ombudsman for Children, who has criticised the waiting time for treatment for curvature of the spine. Dr Niall Muldoon says it's unacceptable that young people with scoliosis are suffering severe physical and psychological effects as a result of the delays.
