Iarnrod Eireann is to waive port charges for cruise liners at Rosslare Europort with the intention of attracting passengers to visit the South East. The move follows the visit in July of the MS Braemar which was the first visit of a vessel that size in 20 years. It's estimated that up to 40 million euro this year was spent by cruise passangers and Iarnrod Eireann is intent on playing it's part in attracting some of that very lucrative market.
