There has been a disturbing incident on Wexford’s Main Street, where the box housing a life-saving defibrillator has been damaged.
The device, located at the top of Anne Street, is part of a local initiative by a local company to provide emergency support.
However, the box was found smashed this morning, with signs that someone tried to break into it.
Commander with the Order of Malta, Dave O Grady said it follows a series of similar incidents, including stolen defibrillators in Wexford town and Gorey.
Speaking on MM he said its disgraceful that this life saving equipment is being vandalised
