The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation is meeting today to decide when it’ll stage a series of 24 hour strikes.
A row over pay and staff shortages saw the union’s members vote by 95 per cent for industrial action last month.
The government’s indicated it won’t give in to the nurses’ pay demands.
