RYANAIR WILL RECOGNISE PILOT UNIONS TO STOP CHRISTMAS STRIKES

Ryanair says it will recognise pilot unions for the first time in its 32-year history, in an effort to stop strikes.

Pilots at Cork, Shannon and Dublin Airports were to walk off the job on Wednesday over negotiating rights.

Chief People’s Officer at Ryanair, Eddie Wilson says the move is to avoid disruption to Christmas flights.
