PPI honours excellence in local and national radio across a range of categories. An independent judging panel reviews every entry in each of the six categories and further sub categories.
This year South East Radio is delighted to announce the station has been shortlisted for PPI Awards in three separate categories.
The categories are as follows: Community and Social Action; South East Radio’s Dee-Day Heart Attack Awareness Campaign, Specialist Speech Programme; Wexford’s Wild Heritage – Great Saltees, Wexford’s Treasure Island and the final category; Speech Broadcaster of the Year, with Alan Corcoran presenter of South East Radio’s Morning Mix, receiving his third nomination in three years.
The overall winners will be announced on Friday 3rd October at a gala ball at the Lyrath Hotel, Kilkenny.
