SPORT: HANRAHAN AND GOPPERTH TO LEAVE IRISH PROVINCES

Bad news for Munster fans as the province confirm that JJ Hanrahan will join Northampton at the end of the season.

The out half come centre had been linked with a move in recent weeks however Munster coach Antony Foley expressed his desire to keep the player.

The reds say the player told management yesterday despite a 3 year offer form them.

In better news Ian Keatley has signed a new deal with the IRFU that will keep him at Munster until at least 2017.

The former Leinster academy and Connacht number 10 recently featured in the Guinness series against Georgia.

Cian Bohane, Shane Buckley and Jack O’Donoghue have all also signed extensions.

Meanwhile Leinster have confirmed that Jimmy Gopperth will join Wasps at the end of the season.
