SPORT: PAUL O’CONNELL NO CLOSER TO TOULON DEBUT
Paul O’Connell appears to be no nearer his Toulon debut.
The former Ireland captain is yet to play for the French Top 14 side after suffering a bad hamstring injury during the World Cup.
Midi Olympique report that O’Connell is “still suffering” and will have further scans on his injury this week.
With O’Connell absent for more than three months, Toulon have the option of signing a “medical joker” back-up player.
