SPORT: WEXFORD BOXER PROGRESSES TO NEXT ROUND AT EUROPEAN GAMES
Wexford boxer Adam Nolan won his first round bout in the Welterweight division this morning at the European games in Baku.
The Ballagh native and London Olympian won all 3 rounds against his Albanian opponent, progressing to the next round.
His father, John Nolan, told South East Radio that every year the Garda is physically getting stronger after a lot of work with Head coach and fellow Wexford native Billy Walsh and his team, allowing him to punch harder.
