SPORT: WEXFORD HURLERS CLINCH WIN OVER ANTRIM
The Wexford hurlers managed to overcome Antrim in their Allianz league Division 1B opener at the weekend in Wexford Park but there was just a point in it.
The Model county side were reduced to 14 men during the second half after Tomás Waters was sent off but rallied in the last few minutes to take the win.
The final score 1-24 to 2-20.
Next up is the trip to Tullamore to take on Offaly next Sunday in Round 2.
