SPORT: WEXFORD HURLING AND FOOTBALL TEAMS ANNOUNCED
Liam Dunne has named his team to face Laois this Sunday in Divison 1B of the Allianz Hurling league.
It follows last weekend’s dramatic but frustrating one point loss to Limerick in Innovate Wexford Park.
Laois will be bouyed up by an important win for them against Antrim last weekend and the fact that they’ve already defeated Wexford this year in the Walsh Cup.
The Wexford team in full is; in goal Niall Breen.
The full backs are Liam Ryan, Tomás Waters and Eoin Moore.
Paudie Foley, Matthew O’Hanlon and Andrew Shore are the half backs.
In midfield are David Redmond and Lee Chin.
Diarmuid O’Keefe, Daithi Waters and Ian Byrne are the half forwards.
The full forwards are Liam Óg McGovern, Conor McDonald and Harry Kehoe.
Meanwhile the Wexford footballers travel to Sligo this Sunday in round 5 of Divison 3 of the Allianz Football league hoping for another victory.
They had a 1 point win over Limerick last weekend in Innovate Wexford Park.
