SPORT: WEXFORD SENIOR FOOTBALLERS OUT OF O’BYRNE CUP
There was disappointment for Wexford’s Senior Footballers yesterday in the O’Byrne Cup.
Depsite beating Offaly in Tullamore by 16 points to 13 – it wasn’t enough.
UCD – who overcame Wexford last Wednesday – beat Laois by 1-14 to 3-6 – to progress to the semi-finals.
UCD will now play Kildare while Meath will go up against DCU in the other semi-final.
