UN FINDS WIKILEAKS FOUNDER BEING DETAINED ARBITRARILY IN THE U.K

The British government’s rejected a UN panel’s ruling that Julian Assange is being detained arbitrarily in the UK and should be able to walk free.

The WikiLeaks founder was first arrested in 2010 after being accused of rape in Sweden and has spent the last three years hiding out at the Ecuadorian embassy in London.

He denies the claims.

British police want to arrest him so extradition proceedings can start.

While the Government in London says Mr Assange is free to leave the embassy at any time.
