The IRFU have confirmed they will send an Emerging Ireland squad to Romania for the Nations Cup this summer.

Connacht’s Dan McFarland has been appointed as the team’s Head Coach and he will be assisted by Ulster’s Neil Doak.

The side will open their campaign against Russia on the 13th of June before facing Uruguay on the 18th and Romania on the 22nd.

Six Nations winners Dave Kearney, Jack McGrath and Jordi Murphy all featured in the squad that played in a similar competition in Tblisi last year.
