SPORT: MANCHESTER UNITED FACE BAYERN MUNICH TONIGHT
David Moyes faces yet another searching examination of his credentials as Manchester United manager tonight as defending European champions Bayern Munich come calling to Old Trafford.
Bayern have already been crowned Bundesliga champions after wrapping-up the title last week in order to turn their focus on retaining their European crown, while United’s only chance of playing in next season’s Champions League would now appear to be as defending champions.
Even though tonight’s the home leg for his side, Moyes says they can’t afford to throw caution to the wind.
In tonight’s other Champions League quarter-final, Barcelona will play host to La Liga rivals, Athletico Madrid.
Both games kick-off at 7:45.
