SPORT: GERRARD A DOUBT FOR FA CUP FIFTH ROUND TIE AGAINST PALACE
Steven Gerrard could be a doubt for Liverpool’s FA Cup fifth round tie with Crystal Palace after being taken off as a precaution during last nights 3-2 win over Spurs at Anfield.
The 34 year old tweaked his hamstring and the club says the injury will be assessed.
Gerrard had scored a penalty minutes before being taken off while Harry Kane scored his 23rd goal of the season in the first half for the visitors.
Mario Balotelli’s first league goal for the Reds earned them a victory which leaves them 3 points behind 4th placed Arsenal who beat Leicester 2-1 at the Emirates.
