Trial Jury Of Alleged Boston Bomber To Begin Deliberations

TRIAL JURY OF ALLEGED BOSTON BOMBER TO BEGIN DELIBERATIONS

Jurors in the trial of the Boston bombing suspect will begin deliberations today.

21-year-old Dzokhar Tsarnaev is accused of carrying out the attacks that killed three people and wounded 264.

If he is found guilty, he could face the death penalty or life in prison.

Tsarnaev has already told the court he took part in the bombings – but says his brother was the ringleader.

WBZ reporter Lana Jones is in Boston.

“The death penalty has to be unanimous, otherwise it’s life in prison” she said.

“Just one person can object to the death penalty and stand by that decision – and then it would be life in prison” she added.
